We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and team-focused Bar Back to join our Food & Beverage team. As a Bar Back, you will be an essential part of the bar operation, ensuring our bartenders have everything they need to provide polished, efficient, and memorable service.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in staying one step ahead, and want to grow your career in luxury hospitality, we'd love to meet you.

  • Support bartenders throughout service by ensuring bar stations remain fully stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service.
  • Stock and replenish liquor, beer, wine, mixers, juices, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other bar supplies.
  • Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups, and other ingredients according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain clean and polished glassware and ensure adequate inventory is available during service.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including bar setup, breakdown, cleaning, and restocking.
  • Remove empty bottles, trash, recyclables, and used glassware promptly to maintain a polished bar environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations, coolers, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Anticipate the needs of bartenders and respond quickly during high-volume service periods.
  • Assist with receiving, organizing, rotating, and properly storing beverage inventory.
  • Support banquet bars, special events, and other Food & Beverage outlets as business needs require.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and hotel safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, server assistants, culinary team members, and leadership to ensure seamless service.
  • Engage with guests professionally and courteously whenever working in guest-facing areas.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous bar, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative without constant direction.
  • Dependable and punctual with a commitment to supporting the team.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, craft cocktail bar, or high-volume beverage operation preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, cocktails, and bar operations is a plus.
  • Tennessee ABC Server Permit or ability to obtain, if required for the position.
  • Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and carry supplies.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to safely move cases of beverages, ice, glassware, and other bar supplies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that may include wet surfaces, varying temperatures, and high noise levels.
