Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout appointments
- Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, sealant application, and fluoride treatments
- Administer nitrous oxide
- Take and process dental radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
- Set up and maintain treatment rooms
- Assist with scheduling and other patient care needs as necessary
Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygienist license in Arkansas
- Local Anesthesia license required
- CPR certification
- Graduate of an ADA-accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental software and basic computer skills
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
