This remote role offers the opportunity to grow a sales territory while helping commercial customers address their water treatment needs.
You will manage existing accounts while prospecting for new business and developing long-term customer relationships.
The position combines consultative selling with hands-on technical service, including water testing and equipment support.
You will have significant autonomy in planning your territory, generating leads, and executing sales activities.
The role is well suited to a motivated, self-directed professional who enjoys both customer interaction and practical field work.
A strong training environment, uncapped earning potential, and recognition for performance create opportunities for professional and financial growth.
Approximately 35% travel is expected, with regular customer-site visits and occasional weekend work based on service requirements.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts by maintaining relationships, identifying needs, obtaining orders, and ensuring effective ongoing service.
  • Develop new business within the assigned territory through lead generation, cold calling, appointment setting, prospecting, and other sales activities.
  • Promote and sell water treatment and maintenance services to both new and existing customers.
  • Develop customized water treatment solutions based on customer requirements, operational conditions, and identified business opportunities.
  • Provide hands-on account servicing, including chemical testing, calibration and repair of chemical feed equipment, and visual system inspections when required.
  • Plan and organize daily, weekly, and monthly sales and service activities while maintaining accurate reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships and implement solutions that improve account performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel to customer locations and perform field activities safely and professionally, including work around HVAC systems, cooling towers, boilers, chemicals, and varying environmental conditions.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and customers while managing the territory with a high degree of independence.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of successful sales experience with a demonstrated record of achieving results.
  • Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, environmental health and safety, secondary disinfection, or a related technical field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and territory-management skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, highly driven, and capable of working independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and work with chemical feed and water treatment equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and distributed teams across multiple locations.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to travel approximately 35% and work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends.
  • Physically capable of frequent walking and performing work at customer sites, including climbing and descending stairs and ladders ranging from 10–30 feet.
  • Ability to safely handle chemical containers weighing up to 50 pounds while maintaining required ladder safety practices.
  • Ability to work in environments involving chemicals, noise, hot and cold temperatures, inclement weather, HVAC equipment, cooling towers, and boilers.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including face, ear, and hand protection.
Benefits:
  • Uncapped income potential tied to sales performance.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Employee development and training programs.
  • Employee recognition programs.
  • Remote work arrangement with significant autonomy in managing the assigned territory.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and increased responsibility.
  • Performance-oriented culture that recognizes individual initiative and results.
  • Work/life balance supported alongside a strong focus on business performance.
  • Approximately 35% travel, providing regular customer and field engagement.
