This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive - Velocity based in United States.

This is a remote sales role focused on winning and expanding business with companies of fewer than 200 employees.
You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through solution presentation, negotiation, and close.
The role combines inbound and outbound selling with strategic territory planning and relationship building across a defined market.
You’ll engage finance leaders and business stakeholders, helping them identify opportunities to improve expense, accounts payable, and payment operations.
Success requires disciplined pipeline management, strong SaaS sales execution, and the ability to clearly quantify business value.
You’ll collaborate closely with sales leadership, channel partners, and internal teams while continuously refining your sales approach.
The environment is fast-moving, technology-driven, and designed for ambitious sellers who consistently deliver against revenue targets.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Generate a healthy pipeline through both inbound and outbound leads, proactive research, prospecting, networking, and partner/channel relationships.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives.
  • Sell SaaS solutions to businesses with fewer than 200 employees, tailoring conversations to their finance, accounts payable, expense, and payment needs.
  • Build strong relationships with finance stakeholders and decision-makers, positioning solutions around measurable business outcomes.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations through virtual meetings, phone, email, and occasional in-person interactions.
  • Analyze prospects’ AP, expense, and financial workflows to determine solution fit and identify opportunities for efficiency and modernization.
  • Develop new customer opportunities while identifying revenue-growth opportunities within existing customer relationships.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, meeting outcomes, forecasts, and opportunity information using Salesforce and other sales technologies.
  • Lead opportunities effectively through every stage of the defined sales process and maintain consistent follow-up.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to address opportunities, obstacles, competitive situations, and market trends.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with channel and other strategic partners to support business development.
  • Participate in sales and marketing events, weekly sales meetings, and other initiatives that contribute to revenue growth.
  • Provide market feedback to management and continuously develop creative prospecting, selling, and closing strategies.
  • Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience selling financial SaaS solutions to organizations with approximately 200 employees or fewer.
  • Demonstrated success closing ARR-based software license deals and consistently achieving or exceeding annual quotas.
  • Strong knowledge of travel and expense management, accounts payable, payments, or related financial technology solutions is highly preferred.
  • Experience selling to finance personas and engaging decision-makers around business and operational outcomes.
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and/or Challenger Sale.
  • Proven prospecting skills, including research, outreach, lead generation, and pipeline development.
  • Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing abilities.
  • Ability to quantify and clearly communicate the financial and operational value of proposed solutions.
  • Strong curiosity about how businesses operate, particularly finance, AP, payments, and expense processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across one-on-one, virtual, and larger group settings.
  • Ability to professionally challenge prospects and negotiate toward mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to set, manage, and document agreed outcomes from meetings.
  • Comfortable using Salesforce, Zoom, email, and other sales productivity technologies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to achieve shared objectives.
  • Self-directed, competitive, results-oriented, and capable of maintaining a high level of activity in a target-driven environment.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with a high-performance sales environment.
  • Flexible remote work.
  • Opportunity to work in an AI-powered SaaS and financial technology environment.
  • Exposure to finance, expense management, AP, payments, and business operations across a broad customer base.
  • Collaborative culture with sales, finance, technology, and AI professionals.
  • Opportunities to develop expertise in modern SaaS sales methodologies and technology.
  • Inclusive and supportive workplace focused on professional growth and employee success.
  • Opportunity to contribute to solutions used by more than 12 million users across 120 countries.
  • Career development in a company focused on innovation, financial efficiency, and intelligent business operations.
