JOB SUMMARY:

Lead and oversee plant maintenance and reliability activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment and overall facility. Develop and implement maintenance, MRO, and reliability strategies. Manage maintenance programs and budgets, reliability initiatives, and support operational goals through effective asset management. Provide leadership to maintenance teams and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and other support functions to maximize equipment reliability and plant performance while promoting continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and execute plant maintenance and reliability strategies to support long-term business objectives.
2. Lead site’s overall maintenance organization; including maintenance supervision, reliability personnel, maintenance planning and scheduling personnel, storeroom personnel, mechanical integrity staff, nested contractor resources/trades, and other additional technical resources.
3. Manage and provide overall ownership of the plant maintenance budget, workforce planning, contractor strategy, MRO strategy, and capital maintenance planning.
4. Provide oversight of plant maintenance safety processes and procedures; including permitting, risk assessments, audits, and compliance standards.
5. Provide strategic leadership for major shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance projects; including scope development, resource allocation, risk management, and budget oversight.
6. Provide strategic leadership and direction to maintenance supervisors and technical personnel to resolve complex equipment and operational issues.
7. Drive reliability, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize asset performance and maintenance effectiveness.
8. Establish and monitor maintenance and reliability performance metrics; including backlog management, work execution, scheduling effectiveness, and equipment reliability.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUM:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field

• Minimum 10 years of maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing experience in an industrial environment; including progressive leadership experience managing manufacturing teams and programs

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Master’s degree in engineering or related technical field
• Demonstrated leadership and management skillset acquired in a site/departmental management role

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve maintenance objectives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions
• Strong negotiation and diplomacy skills when managing vendor relationships and resolving conflicts
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
• Effective oral and written communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize work, develop appropriate timelines and work to deadlines
• Specialized skills, software knowledge (particularly SAP PRD), and/or certifications specific to the industry/function
• Ability to lead, motivate, and positively influence others

Pay Range: $155,000 - $180,000

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the previously determined minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries; within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job scope, job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
