Supervisor, Medical Practice in Providence, Rhode Island at CharterCARE of Rhode Island

Position Summary

The Medical Practice Supervisor is a key team member in a CCMA Physician Practice Region supporting multiple locations. Under the leadership of the Regional Practice Manager provides onsite day to day operational support in a manner that supports exceptional patient care and promotes financial stability. The Medical Office Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all practice needs are met by collaborating with practice staff.

Education/Experience

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant course preferred.

Experience: Two to Four years of relevant work experience as a lead/supervisor in a medical/physician’s office required.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

· Knowledge of basic software applications to include Electronic Health Record management.

· Knowledge working with Athena and experience with Meditech

· Skill in dealing with interpersonal issues and customer relations.

· Ability to lead multiple staff/disciplines; minimum 10 FTE’s

· Ability to handle multiple priorities at once with minimal supervision.

· Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.

· Ability to organize and communicate clearly.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
