Sanitation Technician in Boerne, Texas at Texas Star Nut and Food Co Inc

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday (Overtime on Saturday's based on business needs.) 7:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

$15.50 per hour.

Job Summary:

Wash and sanitize equipment and production facilities in accordance with food safety regulations. Follows established procedures for disassembling and cleaning production equipment and components to allow for efficient changeovers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete changeover wash and sanitation accurately and efficiently.
• Complete sanitation of dishwasher and sink areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of production and processing rooms.
• Trains all employees on sanitation practices related to equipment and facilities.
• Ensure completion of documentation relating to sanitation of equipment and facilities.
• Maintaining inventory on gloves, labels, masks, hair nets, beard nets, trash bags, strip clips, aprons, cleaning supplies, and other processing items as necessary.
• All staff must report any known food safety issues to supervisor.
• All staff has the authority to place on hold any products and/or equipment that do not meet Texas Star Nut and Food Co., Inc. food safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be detailed oriented.
• Trained in food safety and quality.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must be able to comply with all safety and cleanliness requirements.

Abilities Required:

• Ability to climb ladders/steps and work on platforms.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
