About the Role:
The Supply Chain Intern will play a critical role in supporting the end-to-end supply chain operations within our organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning. Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with supply chain software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Previous internship or project experience related to supply chain or logistics.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of transportation and warehouse management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Support procurement activities by communicating with suppliers and tracking order statuses.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipments and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Prepare reports and presentations to summarize findings and recommendations for management.
