Job Summary
The Retail Partner plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable shopping experience for guests visiting Rock City Gardens. This position supports daily retail operations by delivering excellent guest service, operating point-of-sale systems, maintaining clean and organized retail spaces, and assisting with merchandising and inventory needs.
The Retail Partner contributes to a positive team environment while supporting efficient operations and high-quality guest interactions across all retail locations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Service & Culture
- Deliver excellent guest service to internal and external customers in alignment with the organization’s mission, culture, and values.
- Model Courage, Care, Wonder, and Excellence in all guest and partner interactions.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner and assist with product selection and questions.
- Maintain a welcoming and guest-focused retail environment.
Sales & Point-of-Sale Operations
- Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems to process sales, returns, and transactions accurately.
- Follow all cash handling procedures and maintain accuracy in transactions.
- Provide efficient and courteous checkout experiences for guests.
Merchandising & Store Presentation
- Stock shelves and organize displays to ensure merchandise is visually appealing and properly presented.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail areas, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Ensure all retail spaces remain guest-ready throughout each shift.
Inventory Support
- Assist with receiving shipments, restocking merchandise, and organizing inventory.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock management activities as assigned.
- Ensure merchandise is properly handled, stored, and rotated.
Teamwork & Operations
- Work collaboratively with Retail Team Leaders and fellow partners to achieve sales and service goals.
- Support opening and closing procedures as assigned.
- Follow all company policies related to safety, loss prevention, and operational standards.
General Responsibilities
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
Knowledge & Skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong guest service mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Ability to read and understand basic operational procedures.
- Basic math skills, including handling U.S. currency.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Availability & Work Requirements
- Flexible availability required, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Regular use of hands and fingers.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Work performed in a fast-paced retail environment.
