Area Relief Specialist

What You’ll Do:Provide Exceptional Direct SupportEmpower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live fulfilling, self-directed lives.

Follow person-centered support plans and respond compassionately to individual needs.

Assist with daily living activities like meals, hygiene, and personal health tracking.

Administer medications safely and support appointments and community engagement.

Foster Connection & CommunityBuild trusting relationships with the people you support and the teams you work with.

Encourage meaningful participation in community outings and daily routines.

Communicate clearly and positively with everyone that is a part of the ALSO Community.

Keep Things Running SmoothlySupport safe, clean, and welcoming home environments.

Monitor well-being and complete required documentation with care and accuracy.

Step into different programs and provide consistent, high-quality support where it’s needed most.

What We’re Looking For:High School Diploma or GED

Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Ability to stay calm, organized, and flexible under pressure

Willingness to travel between sites and work a flexible schedule

Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
