JOB OVERVIEW:

Chick-fil-A Uptown Charlotteis seeking a dedicated and high-energy We are hiring Team Members to serve in both Front of House and Back of House roles. This is more than a job. It is an opportunity to build character, work ethic, and leadership skills in a fast paced and supportive environment. Team Members may rotate between guest service and kitchen operations depending on strengths and business needs.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Pay: FOH/BOH: $16.00 per hour.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Guest Experience
    • Greet every guest with eye contact, a genuine smile, and enthusiastic hospitality.

    • Take accurate orders and process payments efficiently.

    • Create emotional connections and deliver warm, attentive service.

    • Communicate effectively with guests and team members throughout the shift.

  • Kitchen Operations
    • Prepare and cook food safely and efficiently according to Chick-fil-A standards.

    • Work across kitchen stations including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep.

    • Maintain strict food safety and cleanliness standards.

    • Stock kitchen inventory as needed and assist with opening and closing duties.

  • Team Contribution
    • Work at a quick and thorough pace.

    • Communicate clearly with team members.

    • Maintain a positive and coachable attitude in a high volume environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present food safely and efficiently according to Chick-fil-A standards.

  • Operational Support: Help open the kitchen or front of house and assist with inventory stocking.

  • Safety & Cleanliness: Strictly follow all food safety policies and maintain a clean, orderly workspace at all times.

  • Teamwork: Work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining a positive, coachable attitude.

  • Brand Representation: Serve as a professional and caring representative of Chick-fil-A in every interaction.

  • Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest-related concerns with professionalism and care.

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

  • Full Time
    • 35 to 40 hours per week.

    • Ability to work 8 hour shifts between 6 AM and 5 PM.

    • Must be available on Saturdays.

  • Part Time
    • 20 to 25 hours per week, typically 3 to 4 shifts.

    • Must be available on Saturdays.

We are closed on Sundays.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability: Must be able to work an 8-hour shift between 6 AM and 5 PM.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift/move stock weighing up to 35 pounds.
