As IT Operations Governance Lead, you will bring structure, consistency, and accountability to how the IT organization operates. You will build and run three core programs that keep IT performing reliably: Change Management, Incident Management, and IT Asset Management.

You will lead key operational forums, including Change Advisory Boards, IT Operations Reviews, Incident Post-Mortems, and Operations–PMO Syncs. Your work will help ensure IT follows clear, dependable processes that keep systems stable and production-ready.

This role calls for strong governance expertise along with excellent communication and influence. You know how to drive adoption by demonstrating value, building buy-in, and showing how structure improves speed, quality, and trust. You stay composed under pressure, make sound decisions quickly, and build credibility through consistent, data-driven results.

You are proactive and action-oriented. You identify gaps, design solutions, and implement improvements quickly. You know when to enforce process and when to stay flexible, and you are comfortable operating in both a startup environment and a disciplined enterprise IT setting.
If you are self-directed, calm under pressure, and effective at leading through influence, you will succeed here.

Govern and Lead
• Build, operationalize, and govern IT Operations programs — Change, Incident, and Asset Management.
• Lead governance forums (CAB/ECAB, Operations Reviews) and ensure alignment and adherence across IT teams.
• Define and track KPIs, dashboards, and maturity scorecards to measure performance, risk, and audit readiness.
• Communicate governance progress and results with clarity — promoting adoption through influence, not mandate.
• Report directly to the Head of IT Operations with authority to audit, escalate, and enforce governance standards.
• Identify gaps, implement solutions, and maintain operational discipline across OneIT.
Impact: You establish predictable, data-driven IT operations — improving reliability, visibility, and accountability company-wide.
Operate and Control Change Management
• Govern the end-to-end change process, ensuring every request includes risk assessment, testing validation, and rollback planning.
• Lead CAB/ECAB meetings and maintain the Forward Schedule of Change.
• Use metrics to reduce failed or unauthorized changes and improve release reliability.
Incident Management
• Lead major incidents from start to finish — coordinate responders, manage escalations, and communicate clearly with executives and business leaders.
• Deliver concise, timely updates during outages and high-impact events.
• Run post-incident reviews, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Use PagerDuty, Freshservice, and Jira to coordinate and track in real time.

Asset Management
• Govern the full asset lifecycle across hardware, software, and cloud.
• Maintain accurate configuration and ownership data in the Freshservice CMDB.
• Lead quarterly asset audits, reconcile discrepancies, and produce audit-ready reports linking assets, incidents, and changes.
• You ensure every change, incident, and asset is controlled, traceable, and executed to standard — minimizing risk and downtime.

Enable and Align
• Act as a Release Manager for several business units to support Operational Readiness Assessment (ORA) standards before go-live.
• Oversee Service Transition handoffs with defined SLAs, escalation paths, and support coverage.
• Collaborate across OneIT to align on ITIL v4, ISO/IEC 20000-1, and ISO/IEC 19770-1frameworks.
• Support audit readiness and evidence collection for programs.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational maturity through data, governance, and accountability.
• Impact: You align people, process, and technology — ensuring IT operations scale effectively and consistently, as the organization grows.

Requirements:

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in IT Operations, IT Service Management, or IT Governance with leadership accountability.
• Proven success building, enforcing, and governing Change, Incident, and Asset Management programs.
• Experience leading CAB/ECAB, Ops Reviews, Incident Response, Quarterly Internal Audits(Asset Mgmt)
• Strong ability to command large-scale incidents, manage responders, and communicate effectively at the executive level.
• Hands-on experience with Freshservice, PagerDuty, Jira, and Confluence.
