We’re looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join our pediatric practice. If you enjoy working with children and families, communicate well, and thrive in a supportive team environment, we’d love to meet you.
About the Role
- Welcome and support patients and families with warmth and professionalism
- Room patients, obtain vitals, and prepare exam rooms
- Assist with sick and well visits
- Perform vision and hearing screenings
- Administer vaccines and medications under provider direction
- Support providers during procedures
- Complete point-of-care testing (strep, flu, urine, etc.)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Follow established workflows and help keep the day running smoothly
- Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and front office team
- Contribute positively to teamwork, communication, and office flow
Qualifications
- Active CMA/RMA certification (required)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong electronic medical record (EMR) skills
- Microsoft and Google Suite proficient
- Must be willing to travel to other offices as needed
