This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, Americas based in the United States.
The VP, Americas will lead and scale a core revenue region during a period of significant growth and expansion across a broad technology portfolio.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this executive will own new business and expansion revenue across Strategic and Enterprise segments throughout North America.
The role combines strategic go-to-market leadership with hands-on operational discipline, from territory planning and capacity management to pipeline generation and forecasting.
You will lead a multi-level sales organization, developing strong managers and building a high-performing, scalable sales culture.
Success will depend on creating repeatable sales motions, strengthening executive relationships, and driving complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
The role requires close collaboration across Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Partnerships, Enablement, Product, Finance, and Revenue Operations.

- Own Americas new business and expansion revenue across Strategic and Enterprise customer segments, delivering predictable growth against company objectives.
- Define and execute go-to-market strategy across segmentation, territories, account coverage, sales capacity, hiring plans, and resource allocation.
- Build a repeatable pipeline engine through outbound, inbound, account-based marketing, partner-led, and executive-selling motions.
- Establish rigorous operating rhythms for pipeline inspection, forecasting, deal progression, performance management, and business reviews.
- Lead, coach, and develop Sales Directors, Managers, and Account Executives while strengthening the leadership bench and succession pipeline.
- Drive consistent adoption of sales methodology, account planning, qualification standards, pipeline hygiene, and performance management practices.
- Personally engage in strategic and complex enterprise opportunities while scaling new-logo acquisition, product adoption, cross-sell, and expansion motions.
- Partner with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, SDR/BDR, and Partnerships teams to improve pipeline quality, deal execution, customer adoption, retention, and expansion.
- Represent North America in global go-to-market planning, bringing customer, market, competitive, and field insights into broader business strategy.
- Partner with Revenue Operations, Enablement, Finance, and People teams on productivity, compensation, organizational design, hiring, development, and retention.
- Continuously evaluate market opportunities, sales performance, and organizational effectiveness to identify areas for growth and operational improvement.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales, including 7+ years in sales leadership roles with experience managing managers.
- Proven success scaling North American go-to-market strategies and sales organizations within high-growth technology companies.
- Demonstrated experience leading Strategic and Enterprise sales motions with complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes.
- Strong track record of delivering both new business and expansion revenue across large enterprise accounts.
- Experience selling technical products to engineering, DevOps, platform, product, IT, and executive stakeholders; developer tools or infrastructure experience is a strong advantage.
- Deep expertise in pipeline generation, forecasting, territory planning, account coverage, sales methodology, and sales performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, motivate, and retain high-performing sales managers and individual contributors.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build credibility across functions.
- Proven cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to translate strategic priorities into disciplined field execution.
- Strong analytical and operational mindset, with the ability to establish scalable processes and use performance data to drive decisions.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and results-oriented leadership style suited to a high-growth and rapidly evolving technology environment.

- Target total pay ranges based on U.S. geographic zones:
- Zone 1 — San Francisco/Bay Area, New York City Metropolitan Area, Boston, and Seattle: $378,000–$520,000 USD.
- Zone 2 — Irvine, Los Angeles, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, and Chicago: $340,000–$468,000 USD.
- Zone 3 — All other U.S. locations: $321,000–$442,000 USD.
