Position Summary
Our Warehouse Associates are responsible for accurately and efficiently handling all inbound and outbound orders in accordance with GBS standards. This role ensures proper unloading, verification, storage, and picking of materials while maintaining a safe and organized distribution environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Unload inbound freight safely and efficiently.
· Operate dock locks or other equipment to secure trucks during loading/unloading.
· Verify all incoming materials, including addresses, product numbers, and revision dates.
· Accurately pick and pull release orders, ensuring correct quantities are fulfilled.
· Inspect and document material conditions upon receipt.
· Properly operate and maintain material handling equipment.
· Follow all documented work instructions and procedures for the distribution center.
· Maintain accurate records by initialing releases and updating inventory systems.
· Immediately report issues or discrepancies to Distribution Center Management.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements)
· 1 year of warehouse/shipping/receiving type work experience is preferred but not required

· Demonstrate a working knowledge of the inventory management system (once trained)
· Ability to operate material handling equipment and maintain required certification - no previous experience needed
· Basic PC knowledge and ability to learn inventory systems upon training
· Physical ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 60 pounds; ability to stand for the 8-hour shift
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills
· High school diploma or equivalent is required
· Effective communication skills with a focus on teamwork and accuracy
· Professional demeanor with a positive attitude toward work and company goals
· Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and strong work ethics
