Now Hiring: Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health PRN
Preferred Care Home Health Services is looking for a compassionate, experienced Psychiatric RN to deliver skilled behavioral health nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes.
As a PRN team member, you'll bring specialized psychiatric expertise to an interdisciplinary care team, helping patients manage their mental health conditions safely and effectively where they live.
What You'll Do
- Conduct skilled psychiatric nursing visits per physician orders and the plan of care
- Serve as primary RN case manager for patients with psychiatric diagnoses
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status, progress, and treatment response
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medications, and safety
- Communicate condition changes promptly to physicians and the care team
- Participate in care conferences and maintain timely, accurate documentation
What You Bring
- Active Florida RN license
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Psychiatric nursing experience preferred
- Home Health and OASIS experience a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical assessment skills
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
