PeopleSoft Technical Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant based in India.

This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Consultant with 8–10 years of hands-on development expertise. You will work across enterprise PeopleSoft environments, supporting critical HR and payroll capabilities. The role combines application development, integrations, troubleshooting, enhancements, upgrades, and production support. You will collaborate closely with technical and functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. The position offers exposure to complex enterprise projects and third-party system integrations. Immediate availability is required, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced PeopleSoft professional ready to contribute quickly.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, enhance, maintain, and support enterprise solutions using PeopleSoft 9.2+ and PeopleTools 8.55+.
  • Work across PeopleSoft modules including Core HRMS, North America Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Labor.
  • Develop and troubleshoot applications using PeopleCode, COBOL, SQL, Oracle SQL, and SQR.
  • Build and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft and third-party systems using Integration Broker, web services, and related integration technologies.
  • Develop and support Application Packages, Approval Workflow Engine (AWE), Fluid UI, WorkCenters, Activity Guides, and Pivot Grids.
  • Perform data analysis and development using Oracle SQL and PeopleSoft tools such as Data Mover, Application Designer, Query Manager, Integration Broker, and Job Scheduling.
  • Participate in enterprise-wide PeopleSoft implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and production support activities.
  • Analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective and sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, business users, and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and project-related documentation.
  • Contribute to other technical and project initiatives as required.
Requirements
  • 8–10 years of professional experience in PeopleSoft development and technical consulting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft 9.2+ and PeopleTools 8.55+.
  • Practical experience working with Core HRMS, North America Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Labor modules.
  • Strong technical expertise in PeopleCode, COBOL, SQL/Oracle SQL, and SQR.
  • Experience with Integration Broker, web services, and third-party system integrations.
  • Experience developing and supporting Application Packages and Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
  • Knowledge of Fluid UI, WorkCenters, Activity Guides, and Pivot Grids.
  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft utilities including Data Mover, Application Designer, Query Manager, Integration Broker, and Job Scheduling.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate root causes and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working effectively with functional teams, developers, business users, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation and follow enterprise development standards.
  • Availability to join immediately is required.
  • Willingness to complete background verification (BGV) as part of the onboarding process.
