Schedule: This is a full-time onsite position with the following regular schedule:

Monday – Thursday 8:00am- 5:30pm and Friday 8:00am-1:00pm

What You’ll Do

Pharmacists are responsible for verifying data entry and the final product verification. The Pharmacist routinely oversees the distribution of medication and pharmaceutical supplies and consults with patients and/or physicians regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions.

• Receive written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate.
• Maintain proper storage, safety and security conditions for drugs in accordance with state and federal requirements.
• Final verification that labels are correctly entered, and bottles are filled with prescribed medications.
• Review patient profiles and counsel on drug indications, diagnosis, dosages, directions, questions, allergies and interactions.
• Price and file prescriptions that have been filled.
• Clean, and help maintain equipment and work areas.
• Establish and maintain patient profiles, active medication lists, drug allergies, and diagnosis codes.
• Operate cash registers to accept payment from customers.
• Deliver medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
• Supervise medication therapy management program.
• Direct supervision of technicians in all pharmacy dispensing and medication preparation processes.

Job Requirements

1. BS in Pharmacy or Pharm Degree
2. Current unrestricted clinical license(s) in the State of Florida
3. Minimum 2 years’ retail pharmacy experience

Must be able to pass a Level I and Level II Background check and drug screen as required (https://info.flclearinghouse.com)
