Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a DualEntry - Lead Mobile based in Brazil.
This is a high-impact engineering leadership opportunity for a mobile specialist ready to build and ship production applications in a fast-moving AI-native environment.
You will own mobile development across the full lifecycle, from architecture and implementation through testing and App Store and Play Store releases.
The role centers on building polished, high-performance iOS and Android experiences using React Native and TypeScript.
You will translate product and Figma designs into responsive interfaces with smooth animations, reliable API integrations, and strong performance.
As an early engineering leader, you will have significant influence over technical decisions, product direction, and the evolution of the mobile platform.
The environment emphasizes ownership, speed, pragmatic decision-making, continuous learning, and a high standard for engineering quality.
This opportunity is particularly suited to an experienced mobile engineer who thrives on autonomy, ambitious goals, and shipping meaningful products quickly.
- Build and ship production-ready iOS and Android features using React Native and TypeScript, taking ownership from architecture through release.
- Own the complete mobile release lifecycle, including Expo and EAS workflows, app provisioning, testing, store submissions, and production releases.
- Translate Figma designs into polished, responsive mobile interfaces with smooth animations, intuitive interactions, and strong attention to detail.
- Develop clean and reliable API integrations while ensuring applications remain performant, scalable, and maintainable.
- Establish and maintain high engineering standards through unit testing, end-to-end testing, quality assurance, and disciplined release practices.
- Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance speed, reliability, maintainability, and real-world product requirements.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering stakeholders to turn ideas into production features and continuously improve the mobile experience.
- Take strong ownership of technical challenges, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and move initiatives forward without unnecessary dependencies.
- Contribute to a high-performance engineering culture by sharing knowledge, exploring new frameworks and solutions, and helping raise the technical bar.
- 5+ years of Android development experience, ideally gained within a high-growth startup or similarly fast-paced technology environment.
- Strong hands-on experience building production-quality mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript.
- Demonstrated ability to develop smooth, high-performance mobile experiences, including sophisticated animations and responsive interactions.
- Experience taking applications through the complete development and release lifecycle, from IDE development and testing through App Store and Google Play deployment.
- Strong understanding of Expo and EAS or comparable mobile build, provisioning, and release workflows.
- Experience translating Figma designs into high-quality production interfaces with strong attention to visual and interaction details.
- Hands-on experience with API integration, unit testing, and end-to-end quality assurance.
- High level of ownership, initiative, and agency, with a demonstrated ability to independently identify problems and deliver solutions.
- Pragmatic approach to engineering, with the ability to make effective decisions based on business and technical realities rather than over-engineering.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new frameworks, technologies, and approaches to solving engineering challenges.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with frequent deployments, rapid iteration, and high expectations.
- Competitive compensation of $120,000–$180,000 USD, plus $40,000–$60,000 in equity.
- Fully remote-first working environment.
- Home internet, coworking space, and office setup support.
- Flexible paid time off, with 27 days including public holidays.
- Unlimited AI token usage.
- AI skills development and enablement opportunities.
- Learning and development budget for courses, certifications, and language learning.
- Visa sponsorship and relocation support for eligible moves to New York City after two years of tenure.
- Regular in-person team meetups and opportunities to collaborate with colleagues internationally.
- Opportunity to join an early-stage, high-growth AI company and grow alongside the organization.
- Significant equity participation and direct influence over product and technical decisions.
- High-trust, high-speed environment where individual contributions can directly shape the product.
