This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Analyst – Deployment Specialist based in Brazil.
This role is responsible for coordinating and executing software releases, patch deployments, and urgent production changes across multiple environments.
You will serve as the central point of accountability for release readiness, deployment execution, and operational visibility.
The position plays a key role in maintaining reliable delivery while minimizing production risk and service disruption.
You will collaborate closely with development, QA, implementation, and leadership teams to coordinate release activities and timelines.
The role combines technical understanding with strong process discipline, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
You will also help improve deployment practices, reduce manual effort, and increase the predictability of software delivery.
This is an opportunity to directly influence platform stability and customer outcomes in a fast-paced technical environment.
- Coordinate and manage minor software releases from development through deployment, ensuring release artifacts, versioning, approvals, and documentation are complete, accurate, and traceable.
- Own release readiness and execution, maintaining historical records and providing clear visibility into deployment status, schedules, dependencies, and risks.
- Manage minor and patch deployments across implementation and production environments, coordinating timing and sequencing with development, testing, and implementation teams.
- Execute production deployments only after all required approvals are obtained and documented, maintaining consistency and traceability across environments.
- Lead emergency production deployments, including hot fixes and urgent upgrades, while balancing rapid response with appropriate controls, documentation, and auditability.
- Establish and maintain a reliable source of truth for release and deployment information, reducing ad hoc coordination, escalations, and deployment-related disruptions.
- Coordinate effectively across development, QA, implementation, and leadership stakeholders, ensuring everyone has timely visibility into readiness, risks, schedules, and potential blockers.
- Identify opportunities to improve release and deployment processes, reduce operational risk, automate manual activities, and shorten deployment cycle times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience supporting software release management, environment deployments, or similar technical delivery functions.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), release processes, deployment controls, and production change management.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with frequent software releases and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-risk or production deployments with strong attention to detail, accountability, and sound judgment.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and process governance skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and enforce controls under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical status, risks, and deployment decisions clearly to both technical and leadership audiences.
- Familiarity with version control systems, build pipelines, deployment tooling, and CI/CD automation is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise or regulated production environments is a plus, as is exposure to IBM iSeries/AS400, MKS Integrity or similar version control platforms, and utility or CIS systems.
- Comfortable working collaboratively across multiple teams while remaining calm, disciplined, and accountable during urgent production situations.
- A proactive mindset and continuous-improvement approach, with a focus on reducing deployment risk, manual effort, and cycle time.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary paid in USD, aligned with skills and experience.
- Paid time off to support work-life balance and time to recharge.
- Health insurance subsidy to help support healthcare costs.
- Annual salary reviews.
- Paid training and professional certification opportunities.
- Opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with distributed technical teams.
- Direct impact on software stability, deployment reliability, and customer outcomes.
- Opportunity to help shape and mature release and deployment practices in a supportive delivery-focused environment.
