Role Overview:

Provide comprehensive, trauma informed domestic violence advocacy services that prioritize client safety, equity, and long term stability. Deliver culturally and linguistically responsive crisis intervention, case management, legal and systems advocacy, and community outreach for clients impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault, with a strong focus on reducing barriers to access and addressing systemic inequities. Promote dignity, empowerment, and self determination while supporting clients through safety planning, recovery, and connection to integrated behavioral health and community based services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, risk assessments, intakes, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children.
• Deliver culturally responsive, equity-centered services, including support for Latinx, immigrant, and other underserved communities.
• Coordinate case management and referrals for housing, legal services, healthcare, financial assistance, public benefits, mental health, and other social services.
• Advocate for clients navigating criminal, civil, and family court systems, protection orders, police reporting, and other legal processes.
• Facilitate support groups, wellness programs, and empowerment activities focused on healing, resilience, safety, and self-esteem.
• Conduct community outreach, education, presentations, and public awareness activities related to domestic violence and sexual assault.
• Build partnerships with community organizations, service providers, first responders, and advocacy networks to improve access and client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, confidentiality, ethical standards, compliance, and professional development requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a social or human services or related field, or equivalent professional experience in domestic violence services
• Minimum of two years of experience providing domestic violence advocacy, crisis intervention, or related services
• Demonstrated experience with evidence-based practices, including group facilitation, individual counseling, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and commitment to trauma-informed care, including cross-cultural, social, economic, and physical disability challenges when working with multi-cultural clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
• Experience working multiple systems serving youth, families, adults, and older adults.
• Experience navigating legal, criminal justice, and social service systems effectively
• Valid Washington State driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE
This Full-time in-person position works a typical schedule of 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

LOCATION: King County, Washington. Due to the confidential nature of the services provided, the exact work location will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process.

SALARY RANGE

$ 23.00 to $ 27.55 an hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and credentials.
