Job Overview

At Allied Doors we are looking for Commercial Installers that have a strong attention to detail, have a strong work ethic, are reliable, and a desire to learn and improve technical skills. Our Commerical Installers will travel in and around the Bay Area to various job site locations with onsite start times ranging between 6am and 8am, depending on project. Installers are vital to our operation and must act as the intermediary between clients, Project Managers, and Foremans. Candidates must have a great attitude and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Install commercial doors and related hardware according to project specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion of installation tasks.
• Perform on-site measurements and assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety regulations and project demands
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed products to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Preferred: Proven experience in commercial construction or door installation. Experience is helpful, but not required; OTJ training is available.
• Strong understanding of installation techniques and building codes.
• Ability to read schematics and follow instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy project materials for installation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Clean MVR if operating equipment.
• Reliable transportation.
