This local favorite offers breakfast, barista service, dinner, and weekend brunch.POSITION PROFILE:We're looking for an upbeat, espresso buff to prepare and serve coffee drinks, small bites, and other refreshments at Dram Yard.THE TASK AT HAND:Create a warm, friendly, laidback atmosphere that turns first-time guests into regulars.Learn our steps of service, products, menu, and systems inside and out.Take orders, make espresso drinks, and serve coffee and other refreshments from the bar.Answer guest questions about ingredients and kindly adjust milk, sugar, and espresso ratios to preference.Work with the team to keep the coffee bar, restaurant, and bar running smoothly, tidy, and fun for guests and staff alike.Restock, replenish, and prep the coffee bar and side-work areas as needed.Collaborate with hotel staff to make sure overnight guests know about the bar and restaurant's exclusive offerings.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Required1 year of related experience in a similar position, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.Clear thinker who stays calm and resolves problems using good judgment; works cohesively as part of a team.Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.PhysicalAbility to stand for long periods of time, walk and bend, and push, pull, or lift up to 30 lbs.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:Competitive compensation package with medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus 401(k).Paid time off, holiday pay, and sick pay.Career advancement and professional development as we open new hotels and restaurants nationwide.Employee discounts across our entire portfolio (25 hotels and more to come!).
