GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Clinical Applications Support Specialist


Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:


Position purpose

Provide non-hardware support, education and training for all users of GI Alliances gGastro/gPM application, with adherence to GI Alliance policies and the gGastro/gPM manuals. Support clinical quality and centralized functions related to these applications and other applications within the GI Alliance environment.


Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


  • Acknowledge clinical guideline recommendations in gGastro according to policy.
  • Support and educate users for all needs pertaining to gGastro functionality according to policies/procedures, including re-direction to additional teams as needed
  • Train new users via webinar, on-site visits, both before, during and shortly after onboarding in the gGastro/gPM application
  • Configure all necessary elements to add new users, including logins, locations, etc.
  • Provide appropriate feedback to supervisors/management for deviation or errors
  • Traveling is required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required
  • Experience working in a medical office
  • Ability to learn and understand medical terminology as it relates to the practice.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn GIA gGastro best practices
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to focus on specific tasks.
  • Proficient technical (computer) skills.
  • Self-motivated with initiative.
  • Strong sense of ethics.

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
    Experience: Some experience with Word and Excel preferred.
