Facilities Manager - NYC in NYC, New York at GUARDIAN SERVICE INDUSTRIES

The Role:This position is for someone who has managerial and hands on skills and who has the ability to hire, supervise and direct Handypersons and contractors at a high-end social club and residential community.
Job specifications are as followsBasic to advanced knowledge and the ability to oversee the repairs and maintenance of:

• Flooring
• Carpeting
• Painting
• Plastering
• Drywall
• Wall coverings
• Appliances
• Windows
• Doors
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• HVAC
• Porter Maintenance
• Record keeping

Necessary skills and certifications:

• FDNY Certificates of Fitness, if requested, must be obtained within a timely manner
• Moderate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Interpersonal skills
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Schedule:· Monday – Friday

Salary and Benefits:· $90,000.00

This position will require the capability to perform front of house client/contractor liaison meetings and/or discussions regarding the above outlined topics to best serve the client in a high-end social club and residential community in midtown Manhattan, NY.
