Bilingual Onboarding Coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Bilingual Onboarding Coordinator based in United States.

The Bilingual Onboarding Coordinator will play an important role in welcoming and preparing new volunteers for an online ministry community. Working fully remotely in both English and Spanish, you’ll guide applicants through the application and training journey from initial review through successful placement. The role combines administrative coordination, written communication, coaching, and relationship building. You’ll manage multiple applications, training activities, and requests while ensuring each person receives timely and thoughtful support. Your attention to detail will help maintain accurate records and smooth processes across digital systems. This is an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven environment while developing strong experience in remote operations, volunteer engagement, and onboarding.

Accountabilities
  • Review volunteer applications and communicate with applicants and references to provide a welcoming and organized onboarding experience.

  • Process reactivation requests from former online missionaries and guide them through the required training process.

  • Use CRM and learning management systems to accurately track application status, training progress, and onboarding milestones.

  • Engage with trainees throughout their learning journey, helping them understand expectations and monitoring their progress.

  • Review trainee exercises and provide constructive coaching and guidance on effective online ministry approaches.

  • Place successful graduates within an appropriate volunteer community and coordinate with their new leaders to support a smooth transition.

  • Manage application and training inboxes, responding to questions and requests within one business day.

  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues affecting applicants or trainees and escalate more complex problems to the appropriate technical team.

  • Coordinate multiple concurrent processes and requests while maintaining accurate records and consistent communication.

  • Support a positive, encouraging, and professional experience for volunteers throughout the onboarding and training journey.

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role.

  • Strong written communication skills in both English and Spanish, particularly for professional email correspondence.

  • Comfortable learning and using new technologies, digital platforms, CRM systems, and online learning tools.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workflows, deadlines, and requests simultaneously.

  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a practical and solutions-oriented approach.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically with applicants and trainees through email and virtual meetings.

  • Genuine interest in coaching and supporting others, including through email and Zoom-based interactions.

  • Experience working with a CRM or learning management system is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

  • A strong personal commitment to the organization's Christian mission and full agreement with its Statement of Faith.

Benefits
  • Fully remote position based in the United States.

  • Full-time employment.

  • Opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization using technology to support a global online ministry community.

  • Collaborative environment focused on supporting volunteers and helping them succeed.

  • Opportunity to develop experience across onboarding, volunteer coordination, digital learning systems, and remote operations.

  • Meaningful work centered on communication, coaching, and community engagement.

  • Exposure to CRM and online learning technologies in a fully remote environment.
