Kastle - Falls Church
Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Event Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team as we accelerate our rapid growth in property technology to make commercial workspaces and multifamily residential properties secure.
The Event Marketing Manager will own and execute Kastle's full event program — independently driving strategy, logistics, and on-site execution across a national portfolio of tradeshows, hosted events, and virtual experiences.
This role reports to the Senior Events and Program Manager, who oversees Kastle's full marketing program; while this person is the primary point person for all events, they will collaborate closely with and draw on the support of the Senior Events and Program Manager throughout planning and execution. This role works in close partnership with the broader marketing and sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end planning and execution of Kastle's national event calendar, including tradeshows, hosted events, webinars, and podcasts — independently managing all logistics from kickoff through post-event wrap.
- Serve as the primary Kastle representative and main point of contact for all national events, traveling to and attending each one in person to lead on-site coordination, booth operations, staffing, and brand presence.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to oversee regional events budget, activations and ensure consistent messaging across all event appearances.
- Proactively coordinate with sales and marketing functions on every event: brief sales ahead of time, determine lead capture and outreach strategy, and ensure post-event follow-up happens in a timely manner, tying results back to ROI.
- Manage corporate speaking submissions from start to finish, including tracking due dates, finalizing topics, preparing panelists, coordinating with regional sales reps to identify speakers, and writing first-pass titles and descriptions.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all event sponsorship opportunities, researching and evaluating options that drive brand awareness and lead generation, and surfacing recommendations to marketing leadership.
- Proactively research industry tradeshows and webinars to ensure Kastle is represented at the most relevant opportunities; manage attendance registration and invitation review.
- Coordinate booth set-up, operations, furnishings, staffing schedules, and promotional material selection for all external tradeshows.
- Partner with external agencies and vendors (PR, Exhibit, Digital Media) to amplify Kastle's presence leading up to and at events.
- Coordinate hotel room block housing for Kastle employees attending national events.
- Manage exhibitor registration, attendee assignment in coordination with sales leaders, booth delivery and return logistics, and lead capture methodology.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years minimum of national tradeshow (5,000+ attendees). Bonus if involved with B2B technology.
- BA/BS degree required (preferably in marketing, communications, theater, art, journalism, business).
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Equally comfortable working independently (self-starter) and in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently own an event program end-to-end, from strategy through on-site execution and post-event reporting.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and regional/field teams to align messaging and maximize event ROI.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent events, vendors, and deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to travel to all national events and represent Kastle as the primary on-site point of contact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting recommendations and results to marketing and leadership.
