Experienced Bartender in Cartersville, Georgia at Cartersville Country Club Inc

The Bartender position at Cartersville Country Club involves a variety of responsibilities centered around providing excellent service to members and their invited guests while ensuring compliance with state liquor laws and maintaining inventory control. The Bartender will be responsible for stocking the bar, mixing and serving alcoholic beverages, and assisting in cost control and inventory management. This role requires careful monitoring of food and beverage products, and timely communication with management regarding supply needs. The Bartender will also serve meals to members, ensuring a high level of service throughout. Safety is a priority, and the Bartender is expected to incorporate safe work practices into their job performance. Other duties may be assigned as required, making this a dynamic position that requires flexibility and a commitment to member satisfaction.

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates member requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Serves meals to members.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Must be available most evenings and weekends to be considered for a bartending position.
