Medical Billing Specialist in Meridian, Idaho at D&G MEDICAL ASSOCIATES PLLC

Position Summary

The D&G Medical Associates PLLC dba Elevate Healthcare Billing Department supports the full revenue cycle process including claim submission, eligibility verification, denial resolution, payment posting, accounts receivable follow up, and patient billing. This role supports multiple experience levels within the billing team and is primarily remote with occasional in office collaboration as needed.

Core Responsibilities

· Process and submit professional medical claims accurately and timely

· Review documentation for billing readiness and compliance

· Correct and resubmit rejected or denied claims

· Verify insurance coverage and benefits

· Update patient demographic and insurance information

· Work outstanding claims and resolve payment delays

· Communicate with payers to obtain claim status and resolution

· Generate patient statements and assist with billing inquiries

· Participating in training, process improvement, and cross training

· Maintain productivity and quality expectations

Preferred Qualifications

· Healthcare billing or insurance experience preferred but not required

· Basic understanding of medical terminology and payer processes

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

· Ability to work independently in a remote environment

· Effective communication skills

· Experience with EHR or billing systems is a plus
