Position Overview
The Automotive Technician/Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles with an emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, works well independently, and thrives in a fast-paced shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on all makes and models
- Conduct inspections and identify mechanical issues with accuracy
- Mount, balance and repair tires (passenger and light truck)
- Complete brake, suspension, steering and alignment work.
- Perform oil changes, fluid services and general maintenance
- Communicate clearly with service advisors with their findings and repair needs
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Follow all shop safety procedures and industry best practices
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively and responsibly
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Own basic shop tools (shop provides specialty equipment
- Reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic!
