Seasonal Security Officer (1st Shift | Weekends & Holidays – Narragansett, RI)

SecurityRI is hiring Seasonal Security Officers for weekend and holiday first shift coverage at a private beach community in the Narragansett area. This is an outdoor, high-visibility post during peak season requiring a professional who can enforce access rules, manage parking compliance, conduct structured foot patrols, and document all activity accurately every shift.

Shifts Available:
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM | Saturdays, Sundays, and designated Holidays
Seasonal | Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day
Punctual arrival is required. Summer beach area traffic must be factored into your commute.

Position Overview:
Officers maintain a visible presence across beach access areas, parking zones, and common community spaces. All patrol activity, clock-in procedures, and incident documentation are completed through SecurityRI's mobile platforms. These are mandatory procedures monitored directly by operations management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct foot patrols across all assigned zones at minimum once per hour
- Monitor and enforce parking permit compliance and log all violations
- Enforce community access rules and policies consistently and professionally
- De-escalate disputes using direct, calm verbal communication
- Contact local law enforcement for any situation requiring backup
- Submit accurate incident reports through SecurityRI's digital reporting system every shift

What We're Looking For:
Strong verbal communication and professional composure in a high-traffic public environment are required. Written documentation is a core job function. Reports must be clear, accurate, and timely. All officers must be comfortable using a smartphone for digital clock-in and incident reporting. Full platform training is provided before the first shift.

Requirements:
- Valid government-issued ID & Personal Vehicle + Proof of ownership/Insurance
- Smartphone capable of running patrol and reporting applications
- Ability to patrol outdoors for a full shift in summer conditions
- Prior experience in security, access control, or crowd management required
- Reliable weekend and holiday availability for the full season
- Clean Federal & State background check required
