Design Build-Outdoor Installation in Lexington, Kentucky at University of Kentucky

Must be enrolled in the School of Architecture or Product Design.

• Familiarity or experience with using various Fab Lab and wood shop equipment
(CNC, table saw, band saw, miter saw, FabLight etc.).
• Must be comfortable with lifting heavy objects.
• Experience with model-making.

10 to 20 hours/week, shift varies

• Collaborate with faculty on Schematic Design and Design Development.
• Build scale study models and develop custom millwork and connection details.
• Prototype components at 1:1 scale and test constructability.
• Assist with material sourcing and documentation.
• Participate in fabrication, assembly, and on-site installation.
• Contribute to project documentation (drawings, models, photos) and post-occupancy
evaluation.
