Maintenance in Riviera Beach, Florida at Tiara Condominium Association Inc

The Maintenance Staffer (here after referred to as the maintenance person) is responsible for the complete and thorough maintenance of all of Tiara’s mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues throughout the main building, garage, gate house, and all other common areas of the Property. The maintenance person’s role is a key position, which requires attention to detail in all areas of job performance. The maintenance person will follow a detailed schedule of daily activities as indicated by the Supervisor. Additional responsibilities include relaying messages to the Tiara staff, communicating messages from Tiara residents, and maintaining close watch on building activities. The maintenance person works an eight hour shift as indicated on the weekly schedule.

TASKS TO BE PERFORMED:

Review and complete daily maintenance schedule as indicated by the Supervisor.

Maintain and inventory all tools on a regular basis (weekly basis), and report any losses immediately.

Maintain accurate count of inventory levels and supplies in designated storage areas.

Keep detailed and accurate records relating to pool and Jacuzzi water quality.

Completion of a daily activity summary of duties performed.

Communicate with other Tiara staff via phone or radio as needed.

Notify management of possible housekeeping or landscaping issues observed while on duty.

Conduct radio checks on a routine basis.

Record and follow up on maintenance requests communicated by residents or other Tiara staff.

Provide assistance to concierge-safety agent when needed.

Turn lights on and off when necessary in designated areas.

Accompany tradesmen (pest control and etc.)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

1. Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.

2. Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.

3. Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
