Manager, Implementations

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Implementations in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of operations, project management, and client success within a fast-paced 3PL environment. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation of new client programs, ensuring seamless onboarding into distribution and fulfillment operations. Acting as a key bridge between clients and internal teams, you will define operational frameworks, coordinate cross-functional execution, and drive go-live readiness. The position requires strong leadership, technical understanding of supply chain systems, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. You will play a critical role in shaping successful launches, mitigating risks, and ensuring operational excellence from day one. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys building scalable processes.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the full implementation lifecycle for new client accounts, from initial scoping and process design through go-live and stabilization.
  • Define operational models including KPIs, system requirements, process flows, SOPs, and contractual operational frameworks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (operations, logistics, IT, engineering, customer service) to ensure successful client onboarding and execution readiness.
  • Provide on-site and remote support during implementation phases, including go-live coordination and issue resolution.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize operational processes and procedures to support scalable and efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with internal stakeholders and clients to track progress and mitigate risks.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks while ensuring timely escalation and communication to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Lead and coach implementation teams to ensure consistent execution of complex and strategic client launches.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, startup environments, or change management roles within logistics or supply chain settings.
  • Experience working in 3PL, distribution centers, or fulfillment operations.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and implementation methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with operational tools such as WMS systems and scanner-based technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work with operational reporting tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% as required by implementation projects.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams and translating requirements into practical execution plans.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment.
  • Analytical mindset with exposure to SQL is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with availability to work varying schedules including weekends when needed.
