Quality Inspector in PARSIPPANY, New Jersey at Severna Operations Inc
Job Description
Working under moderate supervision or direction, performs complex mechanical inspection operations on machined or fabricated parts for dimensional correctness, quality of finish and. surface or contour imperfections. Works from blueprint specifications or master samples. Uses all precision measuring instruments. May perform first piece inspection, and releases machines for production runs. Performs layout and dimension inspection of incoming tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Performs In-process inspection and has authority to request machine operators to stop production on machines when parts are off standard. May do other related or routine operations as needed in the same or lower wage class.
Requirements:Fluent in English
Reads Blueprints
Able to us measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Comparators and other measuring devices
