Crouse’s Medical Imaging team is hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide Interventional Radiology services.

Pay Range: $39.00 - $50.00 / hour

RNs are eligible for up to a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Intervention Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) Position Responsibilities:

• Provides professional judgment and knowledge of roles as it pertains to the Crouse Hospital Professional Nursing Practice Model.
• Carries out duties and responsibilities per legal requirements under the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice, with emphasis on leading a culture of safe care.
• Responsible for all activities requiring assessment, planning, diagnosing, evaluating, judgment, problem-solving, creating and implementing the plan of care.
• Provides appropriate education to patients and families to promote health, facilitate rehabilitation and maintain wellness. Evaluates effectiveness and revises as appropriate.
• Monitors and evaluates patient responses to treatment/plan of care during hospital stay.
• Utilizes and engages in evidence based practice to deliver quality patient care.
• Demonstrates characteristics and skills that promote critical thinking in clinical problem solving situations.
• Administration of Moderate Sedation under the direction of an MD or NP.

Registered Nurse (RN) Position Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing degree program required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred (Bachelor’s Degree required within 8 years of being hired for those licensed after 2017)
• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and (PALS) certifications required.
• 1-year of Critical Care experience preferred
