Litigation Paralegal

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Litigation Paralegal in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to support attorneys in complex, fast-paced litigation matters within a fully remote environment, while working closely with legal teams on case preparation, discovery, and trial readiness. You will contribute directly to the management and organization of case files, legal documentation, and procedural workflows that are critical to successful litigation outcomes. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple active cases, and comfort working independently while collaborating with attorneys and legal staff. You will play a key role in drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal materials across all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial. This is a hands-on legal support role ideal for a proactive paralegal who thrives in structured yet dynamic case environments.

Accountabilities

You will support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, ensuring accurate case preparation, organized documentation, and efficient execution of legal processes. Your work will help maintain case readiness from discovery through trial. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting attorneys with drafting pleadings, discovery requests, responses, and other legal documents
  • Managing discovery processes, including document review, production, organization, and tracking
  • Conducting legal and factual research and summarizing findings to support case strategy
  • Organizing, analyzing, and maintaining case files, databases, and litigation support systems
  • Assisting in trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness coordination, and pre-trial documentation
  • Supporting depositions, hearings, and mediations through documentation and logistical coordination
  • Communicating professionally with attorneys, clients, vendors, and internal legal teams
Requirements

This role requires prior litigation experience and strong organizational and analytical skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a remote, high-volume legal environment. You should be comfortable supporting multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Key qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal
  • Experience in personal injury litigation preferred
  • Strong knowledge of California state and federal civil procedure rules
  • Experience supporting discovery, trial preparation, and case management activities
  • Familiarity with litigation support tools such as Relativity, Summation Pro, or similar platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with legal teams
  • Adaptability in managing shifting priorities across multiple active cases
