What you will do
Assists lead installers with installing heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems in residential or commercial settings, while learning the trade through supervised, hands-on work.
- Assist System Installation — Help install HVAC units, ductwork, air handlers, condensers, and control wiring in residential or commercial buildings.
- Installation of piping, wiring and leveling of condenser pads.
- Support Diagnostics — Learn to set proper refrigerant levels, test electrical components, and identify worn parts under supervision.
- Handle Materials & Tools — Measure, cut, and prepare ductwork, tubing, and piping; maintain tools and inventory.
- Follow Safety Procedures — Work safely on ladders, in tight spaces, and with power tools; follow OSHA and company safety standards.
- Job Site Support — Keep work areas clean, unload trucks, assist with equipment setup, and complete basic documentation.
- Training & Development - Participate in training classes, safety training, and on-the-job learning.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Class E license – willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background and drug screening.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces.
