What you will be doing:
The Academic Enrollment Specialist assists students and staff with a variety of academic services. The Academic Enrollment Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the academic record for all students and for the processing and retention of all enrollment information. This position is typically the first meeting point for prospective students and guests coming to the campus. This position’s tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide front desk reception in a fast-paced, public-facing office, greeting students, visitors, and staff while ensuring a professional and welcoming environment
- Answer, screen, and route phone calls and emails, take messages, and provide timely follow-up communication
- Schedule enrollment appointments and meetings with prospective students through phone and email outreach
- Complete accurate data entry and maintain student records within the Student Information System (SIS), including enrollment documentation and updates
- Maintain and update class rosters, student files, and academic records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Support general administrative functions including filing, copying, faxing, document preparation, and office supply inventory management
- Monitor access to the facility, remain attentive to all individuals entering the office, and escalate concerns to leadership when appropriate
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders

What we are looking for:
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum one year experience in data entry and managing records
- Minimum one year experience in customer services
- Experience working within a higher education institution or trade school preferred
- Extremely detailed oriented and able to manage high volume of data entering
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Organized, self-starter
- Collaborative mindset
- Computer skills with the ability to work with various software including Word and Excel
