This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a technology strategist who thrives at the intersection of commerce systems, operations, and scalable architecture. In this role, you will oversee the technology ecosystem that powers a fast-growing omnichannel retail business, ensuring seamless connectivity between e-commerce, finance, inventory, and supply chain platforms. You will play a critical role in modernizing infrastructure, optimizing workflows, and driving scalable integrations through best-in-class SaaS and middleware solutions. Working cross-functionally with finance, retail, and operations leaders, you will help shape a lean, agile technology environment designed for rapid growth and operational excellence. This position is ideal for a hands-on systems leader who combines technical depth with strong business acumen and a builder mindset.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and lead the overarching business systems and integration strategy across retail, finance, supply chain, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Own the architecture and optimization of key systems including ERP, OMS, WMS, PLM, and middleware environments.
  • Drive modernization initiatives by reducing legacy system dependencies and implementing scalable SaaS-based solutions.
  • Ensure seamless support for omnichannel retail operations, including inventory management, fulfillment workflows, returns, and post-purchase experiences.
  • Partner closely with finance teams to maintain accurate revenue recognition, automated GL mapping, reconciliation processes, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and retail operations teams to improve warehouse management and product lifecycle processes.
  • Manage external software vendors, integration partners, and service providers, ensuring strong performance, ROI, and operational reliability.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a lean, high-performing business systems team focused on execution, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Retail Technology, E-commerce Operations, or Business Systems Architecture.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing systems, integrations, or technology-focused teams.
  • Strong expertise with platforms such as NetSuite, Shopify Plus, and modern iPaaS tools including Celigo, Boomi, or Workato.
  • Deep understanding of API-driven architecture and SaaS integration strategies.
  • Experience supporting high-growth omnichannel retail operations, preferably within apparel, accessories, or consumer goods industries.
  • Strong financial systems knowledge, including retail accounting, inventory valuation, and ERP data flows.
  • Proven ability to balance speed, scalability, and technical debt management in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Adaptable, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for operational excellence and scalable technology ecosystems.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work full-time business hours.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote opportunity within the United States.
  • Opportunity to lead large-scale commerce architecture and systems transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge SaaS technologies and integration platforms.
  • Collaborative, agile, and growth-focused work environment.
  • Leadership role with significant ownership and strategic influence.
  • Flexible and fast-paced culture that values innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunity to shape scalable retail technology systems supporting rapid business expansion.
