Job Description

As a Digital Marketing Account Manager, you are the strategic architect and primary advocate for our clients' digital growth. This is a high-level orchestration role where you bridge the gap between client business goals and technical execution. You will lead a specialized team of experts in SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Web Development to deliver integrated, high-performance campaigns. You are not just a "messenger"; you are a bilingual translator who can speak "Business ROI" to clients and "Technical Specs" to developers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Client Leadership
  • The Trusted Advisor: Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, moving beyond "task-taking" to provide proactive business consulting.

  • Omnichannel Strategy: Design cohesive marketing funnels where Meta Ads drive awareness, Google Ads capture intent, SEO builds long-term authority, and the Website converts traffic.

  • Expectation Management: Navigate the delicate balance between aggressive growth targets and realistic technical timelines.

2. Specialist Team Orchestration
  • Briefing & Direction: Translate client visions into high-quality briefs for SEO specialists, media buyers, and web developers.

  • Quality Control: Review ad copy, keyword strategies, and website wireframes to ensure they align with the client’s brand voice and conversion goals before they go live.
  • Web Dev Liaison: Oversee website design and development projects, ensuring that new builds are optimized for both user experience (UX) and search engine performance (SEO) from day one.
3. Performance Storytelling & Data Analysis
  • The "Why" Behind the Numbers: Use GA4, Looker Studio, and CRM data to move beyond basic reporting. You must explain why the conversion rate dropped and provide a data-backed pivot strategy.

  • Budget Stewardship: Manage and optimize significant monthly ad spends across Google and Meta, ensuring maximum Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).

3 Essential Skills for the Modern Agency Lead1. Technical "Bilingualism."

To lead specialists, you must understand their "lever." You don't need to write CSS or build complex Schema markup yourself, but you must understand how a Web Design choice affects SEO, or how a landing page's load speed impacts Google Ads Quality Score.

2. Advanced Data Literacy & Attribution

In 2026, tracking is complex. You must understand Attribution Modeling (how different channels contribute to a single sale) to defend the value of "Awareness" campaigns (Meta/YouTube) even when the final click comes from "Branded Search" (Google).

3. Consultative Upselling

A great Account Manager grows the agency by growing the client. You need the ability to spot gaps—for example, noticing that an SEO client has a high-traffic blog but no Marketing Automation to capture those leads—and pitching the solution effectively.
