Description

Position Title: Service Coordinator

Classification: Non-Exempt

Position Type: Full-time

Department: Service Coordination

Compensation: Starting at $24.31/hour

Hours: 35-40 hours/week, Monday - Friday (bewteen the hours of 8am-5pm)

Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA ( hybrid work available with supervisor approval)

Travel required: Occasional travel to BII offices and treatment centers may be required for trainings, meetings, or company events

About Behavior Interventions, Inc.

Behavior Interventions was founded in 2006 by two Board Certified Behavior Analysts with a mission to provide quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to our families in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Our team is composed of clinical and administrative team members all focused on creating meaningful change in the lives of those we serve. We are seeking a Service Coordinator to support our Service Coordination team in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

Reporting Relationship: The Service Coordinator reports to the Service Coordination Manager for all of the duties and responsibilities listed below and for other duites that the Service Coordination Manager may assign.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: Support service coordination team to ensure family services are established and maintained.

Case Management:

  • Track client authorizations
  • Maintain client records in practice management system (CentralReach)
  • Assist Behavior Analyst in submitting reauthorizations to insurance companies
  • Assist Behavior Analyst in responding to denied services
  • Follow up with insurance company on submitted authorizations
  • Calculates units for service provision by CPT code, based on varying date ranges, for therapies provided as frequently as daily, lasting up to 12 months in duration
  • Maintain up-to-date insurance information on clients
  • Communicate with families and other providers to facilitate services

General Responsibilities

  • Supports projects (i.e. business development, operations improvement plans)
  • Contract coordination activities, i.e. contract renewals, required documents

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree with 1 year of professional work experience, or High School Diploma with 3 years of relevant professional work experience
  • Ability to maintain confidential information, i.e. handle sensitive case files and follow HIPAA/FERPA regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment; handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner
  • Proficiency with basic math; multiplying and dividing accurately utilizing a calculator
  • Proficient technical skills; working knowledge of Google apps including Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Calendars or equivalent programs
  • Experience or knowledge in ABA service delivery preferred
  • Effective customer service and communication skills
  • Effective conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational/time management/prioritization skills
