We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician. The current schedule is Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts (1st Shift - 7:00am - 5:00pm), pending any necessary overtime.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Repairs and preventative maintenance to resolve and prevent operating issues and maximize equipment availability.
- Use technical knowledge, equipment documentation, safety procedures and maintenance schedules to follow, improve and develop preventative and routine maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow machine safety and code guidelines such as NFPA 70, NFPA70e, NFPA79 and able to work safely within a manufacturing environment.
- Comprehension and ability to understand down-stream effects of repairs and changes.
- Machines system rebuilds such as pumps, motors, bearings, cylinders, and axes.
- Machine and machine system routine calibrations
- PM and repair of facility systems such as chillers and compressors
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
- Responsible for workplace safety and adhere to all plant safety rules.
- Commissioning and decommissioning machines and equipment.
- Ability to work overtime as need and required.
- All other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Technical Degree in Industrial Technology or greater preferred.
- Minimum of 2 year experience in manufacturing and automation preferred.
- Strong experience with a history of root cause analysis required in electrical troubleshooting, PLC inputs/outputs
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Ability to read and understand machine mechanical and assembly prints, dimensions, and callouts
- Strong experience in the troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial automation and their respective controls systems including but not limited to.
- Robots (Both Scara and 6 axis)
- VFDs and other motion control systems
- Conveyor control systems
- 3-phase, single-phase and DC circuits and distribution systems
- I/O distribution systems
- analog and digital I/O
- Basic machine Communication protocols such as Profibus, ethernet I/P, etc
- PLC knowledge and ability to interpret PLC logic a plus
- Inline Measurement and testing systems
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Basic machine sequences
- Experience working with Maintenance work order/asset management software systems(CMMS)
- Think forward, anticipate issues and plan for contingencies.
- Experience with basic assembly processes such as torque drivers, welders, servo presses, soldering, etc.
- Effective communication, written and verbal skills
- Comfortable with MS Office Environment
