Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Trade Specialist to join our Reconstruction team and support the successful completion of residential and commercial restoration projects. This role is responsible for performing high-quality repair and rebuild work following property damage events while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Sasser Restoration’s standards.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented craftsman who takes pride in their work, follows established processes, and consistently delivers quality results. This individual should be reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working collaboratively with Project Managers, Supervisors, and other team members to restore properties to their pre-loss condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform skilled reconstruction, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC work on residential and commercial restoration projects.
Execute work according to project scopes, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
Review assigned tasks and communicate any challenges, material needs, or project concerns with leadership.
Maintain attention to detail to ensure repairs are completed accurately and professionally.
Follow established production processes, safety procedures, and company standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout the duration of each project.
Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Reconstruction Supervisors, and other field team members.
Provide professional and respectful service while working in customers’ homes and businesses.
Properly use, maintain, and secure company tools, equipment, and materials.
Document completed work and communicate project progress as needed.
Support additional reconstruction and restoration needs as project requirements change.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in residential or commercial construction, reconstruction, or trade specialty preferred.
Ability to interpret project scopes, measurements, and basic construction plans.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable and consistent with the ability to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
Ability to work independently while following direction and established processes.
Comfortable adapting to changing project conditions and priorities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in insurance restoration or reconstruction.
Knowledge of restoration processes and industry standards.
IICRC, OSHA, or other construction-related certifications.
Experience working in occupied residential environments.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and organization.
