- Build strong relationships with customers, account teams, and technical decision-makers by presenting, demonstrating, and supporting geospatial software solutions that address complex business needs.
- Act as a subject matter expert in GIS technology and AEC industry workflows, advising customers on architecture, integrations, and strategic solution design.
- Develop and present innovative GIS strategies that align technology capabilities with customer objectives, operational challenges, and business outcomes.
- Understand customer environments, including business processes, technical infrastructure, third-party systems, and integration requirements, to recommend effective solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, workshops, demonstrations, and executive presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide configuration guidance, implementation recommendations, and best practices to help customers maximize the value of GIS platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex application deployment, system architecture, and integration challenges while supporting successful customer outcomes.
- Share technical expertise, mentor colleagues, and contribute to improving solution engineering practices and knowledge sharing.
- Represent the organization at conferences, industry events, and customer engagements to showcase geospatial capabilities and innovations.
- 5+ years of experience working with GIS technology, including creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web-based GIS applications.
- 3+ years of experience in AEC, environmental consulting, engineering, construction, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of GIS architecture from an IT perspective, including infrastructure, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud environments.
- Proven experience in technical consulting, enterprise solution design, and communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Understanding of sales engineering, business development processes, and customer engagement strategies.
- Experience troubleshooting GIS application deployments and enterprise system architectures.
- Knowledge of geodatabases and database management systems.
- Experience integrating software solutions with enterprise platforms such as data warehouses, BI tools, CRM systems, ERP systems, and analytics solutions.
- Programming or scripting experience with technologies such as Python and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar environments.
- Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically or internationally approximately 25–50% of the time.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Preferred experience with real-time data integration, IoT, AI/ML, advanced analytics, imagery, digital transformation strategies, Autodesk software, and 3D geospatial solutions.
- Master’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related discipline is a plus.
- Competitive annual base salary ranging from $98,592 to $173,576 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs.
