Alliance Workforce Management is hiring Powder Coating Technicians to support a busy industrial finishing operation. This role is responsible for preparing metal parts, applying powder coatings, operating curing equipment, and ensuring high-quality finishes that meet production standards.

The Powder Coating Technician prepares, coats, and inspects metal components using manual and automated powder coating systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow precise finishing specifications.

• Prepare metal parts by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces.
• Apply powder coating using spray guns, automated systems, and electrostatic equipment.
• Operate curing ovens and monitor temperature settings for proper adhesion and finish quality.
• Inspect completed parts for defects, thickness accuracy, color consistency, and overall finish.
• Perform touch-ups and rework when needed to meet quality standards.
• Clean and maintain powder coating equipment; perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Follow work orders, blueprints, and production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with loading, unloading, packaging, and material movement as required.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in powder coating, industrial painting, or manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of coating techniques, spray equipment, and finishing processes.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, specifications, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with electrostatic powder coating systems.
• Familiarity with automated Nordson equipment.
• Ability to perform efficient color changes.
• Experience in fast-paced production environments.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time, 5 AM – 4 PM
• Work performed in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with exposure to dust, fumes, and fluctuating temperatures.
• PPE required: respirators, gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear as needed.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in environments with dust, fumes, and heat from curing ovens.

Full-time positions available. Pay is based on experience and skill level.
