Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver in Grand Rapids, Michigan at Pella Windows and Doors by Horne

Pella by Horne has been in business for more than 60 years as a leading window and door company and is hiring a Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver for our 1st shift team. This position will spend the majority of its time working in the warehouse and will occasionally spend time out delivering windows and doors. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of windows and doors from Pella
• Pick and prepare orders for deliveries
• Drive a 26-foot automatic box truck for deliveries when needed
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory audits
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and other product moving equipment safely and efficiently
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily goals

• Prior warehouse experience required
• Prior delivery driving experience required
• Have a valid Chauffer's license
• Have or the ability to obtain a DOT medical card
• Previous experience operating warehouse equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects throughout the day
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
