Position Summary- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of inspection experience
- Proficient using inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc.
- Must be able to pass visual acuity / color perception requirements
- Proficient in reading and understanding complex engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and procedures
- Able to work with large parts and very tight tolerances
- Able to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent and effective in English written and verbal communication; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Follow and complete requires inspection documentation
- Perform First Article Inspections as required
- Accept or reject parts as necessary
- Creation of IPR's and OPR's
- Manage expectations and projects with a professional attitude, complying with company policies and procedures
- Oversee the calibration system, and/or support it as necessary
- Familiar with company's products and processes
- Knowledge of Flight Safety Procedures, Frozen Planning requirements, and General Shop Safety
- Know and execute PAS Management system procedures
- Team-oriented and able to work well in a collaborative environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work under pressure to meet schedules in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to learn new processes, techniques, and measurement tools quickly
- Self-motivated with a strong safety mindset and a positive, “can-do” attitude
Physical Requirements
- Frequent use of hands and arms
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks
- Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
- Strong visual acuity and depth perception
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
