Position Description:

We are currently accepting applications for 2027 Summer Internships within our Validation Engineering team.

Position Summary

As an ASIC Validation Engineer Intern, you will support the validation of semiconductor devices and ASIC designs to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements. You will be provided with hands-on exposure to hardware bring-up, test automation, and data analysis in a collaborative engineering environment and will benefit from the experience of a highly qualified and experienced Validation and Testing team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in ASIC and SoC validation activities including silicon bring-up, functional testing, and performance characterization.

• Develop and execute test cases to validate chip functionality across a variety of operating conditions.

• Support test automation efforts using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, or TCL).

• Collect, analyze, and document validation results; identify anomalies and assist in root cause analysis.

• Work with design, verification, and validation engineers to debug hardware/software integration issues.

• Maintain validation lab equipment, test setups, and documentation according to engineering best practices.

Qualifications:

• Actively working toward a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

• Basic understanding of digital design concepts, ASIC/SoC architectures, and semiconductor fundamentals

• Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators

• Programming/scripting skills in Python, C/C++, or similar languages

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced engineering environment.

• US citizenship
