Admin and Marketing Assistant in Springfield, Virginia at The Swiss Bakery

We are looking for a dynamic individual to be our Marketing & Office Admin Assistant. This person will primarily focus on Marketing/Social Media, Promotions, Product Photo Shoots, Assisting the FOH, Assisting Mail Order and Managers.
This position is 60% office work and 40% on the floor. This changes as business needs, for holidays and events.

Responsibilities include:
- Planning & Scheduling Social Media on Facebook and Instagram
- Planning & Scheduling weekly Constant Contact Emails
- Efficiently Executing Product Flyers for store such as promotions and specials
- Responsible for assisting with retail store maintenance and product sign maintenance
- Assisting and supporting FOH when needed during busy or understaffed times
- Assisting with planning, marketing and executing Events held at the bakery and off-premise of the bakery
- Responsible for working with the Office Manager/Managers on product photoshoots, video shoots, etc for social media and promotion purposes
- Capable of executing tasks quickly and efficiently in a timely manner
- Comfortable with POS systems
-Assisting in Mail Order to package during busy times
- Reporting to and assisting all needs of the Office Manager/Managers
A successful candidate will have good customer and communication skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute various tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality is a must.
Previous Marketing experience preferred
Must be efficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Canva, etc
This is a hourly position with potential for advancement.
Days and hours are flexible
